How does this work?
Contact me for an initial assessment form and to get scheduled. From there, online paperwork will be required prior to our first formal session together.
What Happens Next?
The initial session together typically lasts 90 minutes to get a complete assessment of concerns and needs. From there, sessions typically last 60 minutes and it's encouraged for sessions to be weekly, at least initially for the first 4-6 weeks. Though, each client is unique and care can be tailored to meet your level of need/ care. I will work to establish a schedule and treatment plan to address your needs and develop a healthy therapeutic relationship.
What is an LCSW-S?
An LCSW-S is a licensed clinical social worker- supervisor. Texas requires specific regulation for an LSCW consisting of: a Master's level, Social Work degree, 3,000 hours of clinical supervision, passing of a clinical exam, and continued education.
Cancellations?
I kindly ask for 24 hours prior notice for a cancellation. Should an appointment be cancelled or no-show with less than 24 hours prior notice, the full session amount will still be billed. Emergencies do occur and I encourage communication.
Insurance?
No, I do not accept insurance plans. Though, each session is provided with an invoice that can be filed with your insurance for reimbursement.
